Sun Rise

So how do you create an image like this? Planning, a little luck, and a great couple willing to greet the sun when she(he) breaks the horizon. Scout the location for the best position and best times, set up the day of with headlights and flashlights (of course pray for perfect weather), wait in the chill for the right moment, then work like mad for the next few precious minutes to obtain the best images (always amazing how fast the sun 'moves' when close to the horizon). One of the best parts of what I do is when images become real, those that prior to being seen in print were only felt (course its also a blast!).
